Dunja is an international educator deeply passionate about curriculum, teaching & learning, and a strong advocate for lifelong learning. She strives to inspire and motivate others while embodying integrity, thoughtfulness, and care, with a non-judgmental attitude.

She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Plurilingual Education (CLIL / EMILE) and a Certificate on how to build a Successful Growth Coaching Program. She is also a Google Certified Educator and is fluent in French & English.

During her pedagogical career, she has developed strong leadership and instructional coaching skills in Asia and Europe. She has put in place an individual cognitive coaching program for teachers to support them in their reflections and their professional development. Actively listening to, supporting and helping teachers believing in themselves and their teaching is paramount to her. She strives to be accessible, to listen without judgement and to examine ideas and solutions to the questions and doubts that teachers may have.

She participated, in collaboration with UNESCO International Bureau of Education, in developing and implementing a 21st century curriculum that develops competences to prepare students to thrive in our world and act for the public good. She also established a dual language program and conducted a detailed analysis of the implementation of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) evaluation of the implications of teaching a subject in L2.

She is part of a training and consultancy team at the European Center for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe. We offer bilingual (English / French) training with hands-on activities to take teachers and teacher educators from the basics of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) to an understanding of deeper learning episodes which support the transfer of learning across language and subjects. Since 2016, we have trained teachers in Switzerland, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Greece, Armenia, Romania and Belgium.
